The Collegiate Inventors Competition

The Collegiate Inventors Competition’s mission is to recognize and encourage undergraduate and graduate students on their quest to change tomorrow. Students are often the force behind the technology emerging from colleges and universities in the United States and around the world. Search for entries begins February 2006.

Video Contest for College Students

College students are invited to interpret the Christopher belief that “ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE” in a short film of five minutes or less. Entries can express this theme in any genre or shooting format. Winning entries will be aired on a special edition of the internationally-syndicated television series Christopher Closeup.

In addition, winners will receive the following cash awards:

First Prize — $3,000 Second Prize — $2,000 Third Prize — $1,000
5 Honorable Mention Prizes of $100 each.

DEADLINE is June 9, 2006.

The Cola-Cola Scholars Foundation

Scholarships for students attending two-year accredited institutions. Nomination materials are sent to the Financial Aid Office at all two-year, degree granting institutions in the United States in February. Each college campus may nominate two students for this scholarship program. (Eligible students should contact the colleges financial aid office to declare their interest in being nominated by their college.) Nominees may be first and/or second year students planning to continue their education at a two-year institution. 400 awards will be given annually. The deadline for applications is May 31.
